The group usually meets once a month at Gilling West Village Hall at the following times:
- First Thursday of the month between 19:00 and 21:00
Your host: Jo Nevison
Hello all! I’m Jo, I love fellwalking, paddle-boarding and crafting. I still haven’t taught myself to like coffee or seafood so don’t consider myself a grown up even though I’m 55! I’m looking forward to hosting the Richmond group, where I hope to get to know lots of new people while we try out some excellent new things. Oh, and eating cake, Donna and Charlotte said that is positively encouraged!
Our Meetings for the next few months
August – Whether you have not drawn since school or like to sketch, our life drawing session is not only lots of fun (and giggles) but everyone amazes themselves with what they can produce during the session, hosted by Bernadette Koranteng Art Workshops.
September – This will be a food demonstration & tasters from super charismatic collective at The Food Hobbyists. Link below for members to book their space and also for guests to book & pay to come along.
October – We’ll be hosting our very own Murder Mystery with the team from Tall Tales Mysteries! A great way to meet other people and test your sleuthing skills! We also need volunteers to play the parts, so please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
November – Our Door Wreath workshop with Ravensworth Nurseries is one of the most popular sessions of the year, everything is provided, you just need to bring some gloves as the holly can be prickly!
December – Whats better at Christmas than some seasonal crafting! We’ll all be bringing something for a buffet whilst we enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit at our last event of the year!
January – We’re super excited to be offering a Fused Glass Workshop with the wonderful Sue from Glassic, this is something that has been requested so many times and we are so pleased to be finally able to offer it. You will be able to collect your work at the February meeting once it has been fired.
