Welcome to Pimms and Needles
Pimm’s and Needles are a Community Interest Company, which organise fun and friendly ladies groups at venues across the North East and North Yorkshire.
Our groups are open to ladies aged 18 and above, who meet once a month to take part in a range of activities. We have woman that come with friends, family or on their own, we’re very welcoming and our groups are a great way to make new friends in your local community.
Each month we offer a different activity, whether its arts and crafts, one of our artisan food sessions, dancing, beauty and wellbeing, or getting our hands dirty with some gardening! Our sessions are all about having fun and getting involved – enjoying the journey rather than worrying about the outcome!
Become a member – the Benefits
We offer a friendly setting so you can meet and connect with new people.
With a different topic each month, you’ll learn some of the basics and have a taster session in lots of fun activities!
Enjoy the moment
At our group meetings there’s never any pressure to be good at the activities, we just want everyone to enjoy the moment and pleasure of the journey!
From Belly dancing to laughter yoga, Western Line Dancing to the Lindy Hop, we love to think of fun ways to keep everyone active!
We want you to come along with an open mind and be inspired by each monthly session, you never know, it might be the start of an unexpected passion!
We love giving back to the community and currently have several funded projects we’re running to support our Elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic
Get involved in our creative workshops!
Organisers Charlotte and Donna like to offer their members something a little bit different but sometimes find it’s not possible to offer some activities at the usual monthly meetings due to the size of the group or cost and time involved.
Over the past three years Pimm’s and needles members and guests have been treated to many opportunities to try out new and exciting crafts and activities in a more intimate sized group as extra session.
The ladies have bagged some top artists and designers to host silver ring-making afternoons, singing workshops, sewing and textiles sessions as well as organising more social activities such as cinema trips, party nights out and fun clothes swapping evenings.
Pimm’s and Needles seems to attract like-minded creative people who are interested in learning new skills and meeting new people.
