We want you to try something new!

We want you to try something new!

Our groups love to try a new activity every month, from Sausage making workshops to bellydancing, ceramics to car maintenance we vary the sessions to offer a mix of heritage and practical skills. In the last 12 months we have taken part in Self defence workshops, Chocolate Making, Burlesque, Gin Tasting, Hoop Embroidery, Felting, Lino Cutting, Laughter Yoga and Cake Decorating to name a few. We only repeat two activities each year which are our Hanging Basket Workshops and Christmas Door Garland Workshops as these are always keen favourites with our members.

Over the past five years we have tried far too many activities to mention, but what we love most is when someone comes along, and is a little wary or worried that they won’t enjoy it or be very good and leave amazed at what they have created or how much they have enjoyed themselves!

Our emphasis is always on the mindful element of enjoying the moment, making connections with people and relaxing.

We have such busy lives its lovely to take some time out and relax! We also provide everything you need for the activities, the materials are also all included in the price, so other than bringing an apron or some gardening gloves now and again, we try to take the stress away so you don’t have to remember to bring anything along.

Tea and Coffee are free at our groups and members take turns to bring cakes to share. We believe that a fun activity along with a friendly environment, nice cuppa and a slice of cake can lift most people’s spirits!

We are huge believers in enjoying the journey with our sessions rather than focusing too much on the outcome
