The group usually meets once a month at Ceddesfeld House at the following times:
Third Tuesday of the month from 19:00 – 21:00
Your host: Tracy Fee
Hi I’m Tracy. I’m a mental health nurse of 30 years, married to a police officer & mam to a teenage boy / man! Family & friends are the most important things to me including my little pug, Wilbur.
I celebrated my 50th birthday during Covid & I am embracing every moment of life, hence jumping at the chance to be more involved with Pimm’s & Needles. I’ve been a member myself with my sister for the past 4 years and have enjoyed the wide & varied activities as well as getting to know lots of other lovely people.
Wellbeing is at my core and having been involved in the outreach packages Pimm’s & Needles have offered over lockdown I have appreciated even more the emotional wellbeing aspect that this bring to myself & many others – feeling connected, trying something new, giving something back to the community are all key elements of Pimm’s for me & I’m delighted to have this opportunity to host a group.
Our Meetings for the next few months
August – This will be a food demonstration & tasters from charismatic duo The Food Hobbyists. Due to restrictions from the venue we will be running at a substantially reduced capacity in August, so will be taking more members from September. The link to join is below.
September – We’ll be hosting our very own Murder Mystery with the team from Tall Tales Mysteries! A great way to meet other people and test your sleuthing skills! We also need volunteers to play the parts, so please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
October – We’re super excited to be offering a Fused Glass Workshop with the wonderful Sue from Glassic, this is something that has been requested so many times and we are so pleased to be finally able to offer it. You will be able to collect your work at the November meeting once it has been fired.
November – Our Door Wreath workshop with Ravensworth Nurseries is one of the most popular sessions of the year, everything is provided, you just need to bring some gloves as the holly can be prickly!
December – We’ll be getting into the Christmas spirit with some Christmas crafting!
January – What better way to start the year than a taster for a potential new hobby. Whether you have not drawn since school or like to sketch, out life drawing session is not only lots of fun (an giggles) but everyone amazes themselves with what they can produce during the session, hosted by Bernadette Koranteng Art Workshops.
