It’s not often there’s a quiet moment at our Silver Members Groups, until this month!
Group leader Noreen is a huge fan of painting with watercolours for the holistic benefit of relaxing and letting go of any stress, and she has shared her passion with the groups this month. We often get feedback at our groups that people haven’t drawn with a pencil or painted since school, and despite the initial worries they are often pleasantly surprised with the results. At Pimm’s and Needles we are all about embracing the splodges, painting outside of the lines and simply enjoying the journey rather than focusing on the outcome. The group produced some lovely work but most importantly really enjoyed themselves.
There is no better reward for us than when someone says that they are going to buy some paints and a pad so they can paint more at home, and we have had a few ladies at each of these sessions say exactly that.
