The group meets once a month at St Augustine’s Parish Centre at the following times:

  • Third Thursday of the month between 11:00 and 13:00
  • Please note for February, March & April we will be moving temporarily to Willow Road Community Centre as there are building works at St Augustine’s. This does effect the dates of the meetings.

Our Meetings for the next few months 

21st July – Burlesque Workshop  This fun workshop is hosted by the super glamorous EbonySilk and the hilarious Boylesque star Duke De Milo, you’ll learn how to wear a feather boa in style as well as hear about the fascinating history of Burlesque. We’ll finish the night with a performance from the professionals!

18th August – Seaglass – Led by Fiona Marston Artisan Jewellery, the group will learnt the basics of how to make jewellery with wire and Seaglass. You can bring your own treasured pieces along to the session (we will have spares) and you will leave with something truly lovely!

15th September – Indian Food Workshop We’re excited to have The Little Indian Streetfood joining us, their flavour packed dishes have even managed to convert those who don’t like Spicy or Indian Food, Cooking kits are also available to buy on the night and the demonstration & tasters are followed by Bangla Dancing, which you can watch or join in with!

20th October – Pom Pom Making – There was such a flutter of excitement when we booked the Pompomorium when we saw Linzi’s leopard print PomPoms, Linzi will share all the secrets of how to make her gorgeous Pom Poms which can be used to all kinds of fun accessories. We will be making cute little PomPom Flowers during the session

17th November – Wreaths – Nothing gets us more in the Christmas Spirit than our Christmas Door Wreath making session with Ravensworth Nurseries. This session is a firm favourite with our ladies

15th DecemberLino printing and card making – Using a special lino cutting tool we’ll create a design to print onto card to craft our own cards

19th JanuaryMindfulness & Sleep therapy – We’re delighted to welcome Emma Cook from the Tranquillity Room back to our groups, Emma’s works with blue chip companies and has changed the lives of many with her tips for getting a good nights sleep and being more mindful during their life. We rarely have speakers at Pimm’s & Needles but we know that Emma’s sessions are always a firm favourite
