The group usually meets once a month at Bishopton Village Hall at the following times:
- Third Wednesday of the month between 19:00 and 21:00
One of the founders of Pimm’s & Needles, Donna has worked in Media & Marketing as well as having a business making & selling up-cycled glassware & candles. In her free time Donna loves spending time with her two unruly Cockapoo’s Daisy and Frank. Donna loves gardening and decorating and is addicted to visiting TK Maxx!
Our Meetings for the next few months
16th February – Pottery Painting – Pixie Potts will be leading this workshop where we will all be painting a mug, there’s templates and tips for those who want them, and lots of inspiration for those brave enough to paint freehand! Pixie Potts will take them away for firing then return them the following month.
16th March – Paper Cutting – We have the fabulous Keely from KP Papercuts coming to host some sessions on the art of papercutting. We have offered papercutting kits in the past along with a zoom tutorial as its such a relaxing and mindful activity, we love it! Some of you may recognise Keely as she appeared on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas last year so is hugely talented and passionate about her craft.
20th April – Swing Dance Workshop – We love it when dancing is fun and Angeline from 6th Street Swing sessions always leave us smiling! We’ll be learning some good old fashioned Swing & Charleston moves to some music that is guaranteed to put a spring in your step, so get your jazz hands ready!
18th May – Mosaic Workshop – Working With Seagulls Reuse we will be offering this creative workshop where you can design your own door number or heart using broken tiles that have been saved from landfill. So if you break any ceramics don’t throw them away bring them along, we know you’ll be inspired from this fab session as we’re already addicted!
15th June – Hanging Basket Workshop – Once again we have the fantastic team from Ravensworth Nurseries coming along to deliver another of their notorious Hanging Basket Workshops. You’ll learn from the experts how to create a basket that will look amazing throughout the summer, and make one in the group. All you need to bring is your gardening gloves!
20th July – Tea Tasting & Blending Workshop – We’re super excited to be having Whole Lot of Rosie join us for a workshop where Miki will be sharing her knowledge about the history and health benefits of teas from around the world, we will be tasting lot of tea and you will have the opportunity to make your own blends of tea to take home, a perfect treat for yourself or a little gift for any tea lover!
